RISD Pre-College is a rigorous academic experience and has high expectations of students. Describe a challenging time when you had to be self-motivated to work through and complete a project or task. What are the personal skills that helped you and what personal skillsets would you like to improve upon at RISD Pre-College?

A challenging time where I had to be self-motivated was during my freshmen year when I had to write a short novel, and thanks to my skills in time management I finished my short novel on time, and through RISD I hope to improve expressing my self.

A challenging time where I had to be self-motivated was during my freshmen year when I had to write a short non-fiction novel in a short amount of time of 2-3 weeks, and thanks to my skills in time management I finished my short novel on time even though I procrastinated a few times but I pushed through and made sure that I could finish it on time. When I join RISD, I hope to improve my current skill set so that I wouldn't procrastinate as much, improve on how to express myself as sometimes I know what I feel but yet it doesn't know how to come out of me in my artworks. I also hope to learn new skill sets that I haven't come across yet
