1. One tip I learned from the guest speaker Ashley Feng, a second year Finance major in the Major Mash-Up Finance/Accounting lecture is to get involved. It’s important to take advantage of all the Smith School has to offer for us, including many of the student clubs on campus, including HireSmith which connects employers with students. It’s great to make connections early with HireSmith.

2. My most important take away is that succeeding requires attention to detail, relationships, and communications. You must have the ability to distinguish yourself with important skills from the rest as well. Depending on what you focus on, you should be able to relay and demonstrate your skills clearly and attentively.

3. After watching this video, I feel excited about my potential major of finance. I feel this way because the lecture showed me how much opportunity there is at the Smith School, there's so much set up in an effort to help me succeed and achieve my goals, if I put in the work and effort from my end. After hearing the student guest speakers, I'm so excited and impressed to see how confident and composed they are, they seem happy with their choices with what their major is in the Smith School.
