We sit and do nothing while thousand of slaves are being traded, forced to work, separated from their families, beaten, whipped and punished. We see this as normal but there is no reason for one persons life to seem more important than the next. Just because they have come from a different background and haven't grown up with the privileges that we have they have to suffer. it's not their fault that they are born into slavery, they didn't choose this life. Everybody should be seen equaly and slaves are no exception. Slaves make nothing of their lives and get nothing out of it. Their job is not teaching them anything except that the world is an unfair place. These slaves have skills and they have talent and should be given the opportunity to use and show this. They make the smallest amount of money and this amount is not nearly enough to support their families. We are a strong country and should not been seen the way we are, weak. We are seen as weak and in need of others to do our work for us. Do we really want this reputation? Why wait till tomorrow to do what we can do today? Make these wrong things right, the slave trade must end and it should end now.
