Rangkuman Seni Lukis Pasir
Lukis pasir adalah melukis dengan media pasir, dapat dilakukan di atas kaca, dalam botol, maupun di atas kanvas.
Seni lukis pasir bukanlah seni baru tetapi sudah ada sejak tahun 1800an dibawa oleh penduduk Amerika sebelah barat daya yang dikenal dengan sebutan “Navajo”.
Seni lukis dengan pasir dipercaya mampu mengusir roh-roh jahat dan menyembukan penyakit serta upacara keagamaan oleh suku Navajo. Di indonesia sendiri lukis pasir digunakan sebagai seni pewayangan.
Seni pewayangan dirintis oleh bapak Fauzan dengan media gelas/kaca dan pasir.
Teknik lukis pasir adalah dengan meneteskan pasir secara perlahan-lahan melalui tangan pada eksposi yang tertutup papan partikel dan pastinya menggunakan pasir yang terbuat dari batu hancur secara alami berwarna, batu, dan mineral untuk nuansa yang berbeda.
Media yang berupa butiran-butiran tersebut menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi. Seperti Kseniya simonova, Vina IMB, denny darko, Dll. Contoh lainnya Adapula Jim denevan yang menggunakan kayu basah untuk membuat garis geometris pada pasir pantai.
