Trudging through the woods, other than their footsteps, silence is all the campers could hear. They had no torches so the moonlight was the only thing lighting up their way. They were completely lost, there was no sign of any paths or roads, and everything seemed the same around them. It’s like they had been walking in circles this whole time since they had been lost for hours and there was still nothing in sight. They all continued to walk with caution through the dense forest. That was until one of the campers had spotted something in the near distance, something big, dark and gloomy. There through the conifer trees, they saw a house, not just any house but a huge mansion. It looked like it had been abandoned for years, rotting away in the woods. They looked at it for a couple of seconds before they noticed something, one of the rooms had lit up all of sudden and there stood a tall dark figure glaring at the puzzled campers. The campers froze, not knowing what to do. The lit up room soon went dark again. A few seconds later the campers heard a scream from behind them. Nothing could've prepared them for what they saw next.
