1. Rio de Janeiro Carnival

3. Boryeong Mud Festival - South Korea


The centre of cosmetics and cosmetic surgeries, South Korea's festival was started by a cosmetic company that aimed to promote mud as a skin care product. This event has turned to a tradition and has been celebrated by people since then.


4. Burning Man - Nevada, USA


It is a traditional rock concert that is held in the deserts of Nevada. Each year approximately 48.000 people meet and celebrate the event. Of course, it has so much fire related shows in it. 


5. White Nights Festival - St.Petersburg, Russia


It is an annual event that involves many artistic performances such as ballet, opera, music and much more. The estimated number of people who attend to this event is around 1 million. 


6. Dia de los muertos (Day of the Dead) - Mexico


This is a different kind of holiday as far as the theme is concerned. The people in Mexico come together, pray for their relatives, friends and people who knew, who passed away. The tradition also involves gift-sharing and beverage-drinking ceremonies.
