The. first chapter on the book “To kill a mockingbird”Scout and Jem are going to their first day of school. For the fact that Jem is in a higher grade then Scout, he tries to explain to the little girl that he does not wants to hang out around her during school time. Scout is pretty nervous but takes the challenge of going to school for the first time.

Ain’t I a woman?
(Summary)
In that speech she talks about how women did not have the same rights that man had. She says that even at workplaces, men would get the best jobs when women had to be happy in a inferior job. She does not want to women have more rights then men, she wants to women be equal in all things with men. She does not involves color because people do not care about color at those times but, no matter the color women were being treated like inferior animals compared to men.
