Start jongkok dibagi menjadi 3 macam start yaitu :
1. Start pendek (bunch start)
2. Start menengah (medium start)
3. Start panjang (long start)
START PENDEK (BUNCH START)
Start pendek adalah lutut kaki belakang (kaki kiri) diletakkan didepan ujung kaki depan (kaki kanan) dengan jarak satu kepal jari-jari tangan rapat dan ibu jari terpisah.
START MENENGAH (MEDIUM START)
Start menengah adalah lutut kaki belakang (kaki kiri) diletakkan sejajar dengan ujung kaki depan (kaki kanan) dengan jarak satu kepal jari-jari tangan rapat dan ibu jari terpisah.
START PANJANG (LONG START)
Start panjang adalah lutut kaki belakang (kaki kiri) diletakkan dibelakang tumit kaki depann (kaki kanan) dengan jarak satu kepal jari-jari tangan rapat dan ibu jari terpisah.
