This mural would represent the diversity and uniqueness that creates community value which unites and unifies the neighborhoods of Tucson, Arizona. My intended audience for this proposal is anyone interested in improving the community and strengthening the values that bonds everyone together. This project would be located somewhere close to campus where it is easily accessed by students and also somewhere that the people of the community can easily see it also. The mural would illustrate the cultural values and unique ethnicities that bring the community together. The mural will represent and display the characteristics that unify Tucson while showing togetherness in an artistic style. The design for this proposal would have a display of people with different cultures presenting how well of a community can work together. The mural would also incorporate a famous quote describing the community-based lifestyle and the different backgrounds that symbolizes the city and each individual. I would also like to tie in the unique underpinnings regarding the history which include displaying the hardships that have occurred while remaining humble through the triumphs. This plan utilizes community values that shape and grow Tucson by including everyone who actively participates in making this city special for everyone who calls it home. Hopefully in the near future many people would be interested in working with this project and that even students of the university of Arizona would be engaged in this project as well. My hope for this project is that people will be able to come upon this and relate the mural to their own life and even relate the project to the history of the city.
