Notes

I was six years old when my mom bought me my first art set, it was gift for Christmas. And I remember me complaining, and saying, I didn't ask for this, I wanted a doll!, how could Santa mess up!. I was very angry, but I had nothing to do so, I opened the art set, and grabbed a 2B pencil, and the sketch book, and just drew something. That day, I fell in love with drawing!, I worked so hard, that my mom and dad were scared that I wouldn't do anything else!, all I would do was draw. every birthday, every Christmas, all I wanted was art materials. I'm sixteen now, and those six years were the best six years of my life, filled with laughs and cry's, ups and downs!. And to have won this competition, means everything!. ( starts to cry ) and I know I haven't said it yet, But thank you mom, and dad, you guys are my everything!. thank you everybody for voting for me, and thank you Dudley Art center for having me!. ( Bows, and walks off stage ) ( crowd cheers )
