A big advantage to using vector software is that the images will not lose quality when you scale them. You can scale the images without having to worry about them losing quality. The images from vector software will usually take less disk space compared to other file formats like bitmap. A useful aspect of vector software is how you can easily modify these images, considering that each line or curve is a single object, you can just click on each line or curve and modify them. A disadvantage to vector software is that some aspects of the images like a small line can disappear if the image is scaled to be much smaller. In addition, a small mistake or error in the drawing may become visible if the image is scaled to be much bigger. Another disadvantage of using vector software is that they can be time consuming and require a lot of effort to create a single image. Specific talent may be needed when creating these vector graphics.
