SETTING: Korea

TIME PERIOD: Yi Sun-Sin's time while fighting Nihon-Ja (Japan)

COMEDY: So basically Yi Sun-Sin is trying to defeat Nihon-Ja, which is the country trying to take over Korea. So far, Yi has done well and won all the battles, but his winning streak is starting to dip, making him resort to unorthodox methods, like baiting the enemy. So he prays for a god to come to help him. He gets Athena and is upset with that. "Why do I have to get the worst god? Athena has never won a battle without asking help from her friends besides having victory on her side, she takes credit for her 'wisdom' aka Iolo's work, and has to resort to scaring the enemy. Heck, she came from a tyrant's mind, Zeus!" Hearing this, Athena got really mad, and said: "Well, at least I didn't get fired 5 times, AND become janitor!" So she made Yi Sun-Sin a janitor again and put someone in his place. This person didn't know anything about the navy, so he 'accidentally' destroyed 90% of Yi's navy fleet. Eventually, Yi was needed, and by looking at a turtle, he made a ship with a turtle.

TRAGEDY: After he won, Athena made another Japanese fleet go after Yi. Yi was beating the war drum to keep a tempo in the army. But Athena made a stray arrow hit Yi, killing Yi. Yi told his son and nephew to keep beating the war drum. For a few hours, Yi's son and nephew commanded as Yi did. No one knew that Yi was dead. Yi's son saved a commander from the Japanese and won that battle. After the battle, the commander came to thank Yi for saving him, only to discover he had died. The commander wailed and cried, and said "Even after death, He saved me! As payment, I will take my own life to join him!" And the commander went to join Yi in the cold abyss of death.

NOTES: The last quote, "Even after death, He saved me! As payment, I will take my own life to join him!" was an actual thing the commander said during the battle. It is very famous.
