Daedalus is a architect and was born from Athena and Hephaestus. His relation to the god Athena is because Athena is the goddess of war. She was born from Zeus head and had no father. Hephaestus was the master of metalwork and anything involving building things. Daedalus built a labyrinth to house the king of Crete’s son, the Minotaur. It was slain by Theseus in the labyrinth. Daedalus and his son were planning to escape from Crete because he didn't like the king, so he built an set of wings for himself and his son.
His son died because he flew too close to the sun, which made the wax on his wings melt and made him fall to the sea and drown. Daedalus designs many buildings like silicys palace and the “prison” at Crete. He killed his own nephew because he was scared that he would be better than him. Two monsters Heracles killed
The Nemean lion and the Hydra are two of the many monsters Heracles killed during his lifetime. The Nemean lion has an impenetrable hide that can not be cut by any man-made knife, spear any weapons man-made. The Lernaean Hydra is a monster that has the ability to regenerate heads.
