1. Anglo-Saxon, dalam artian kontinental itu sendiri menurut saya menarik dikarenakan fakta bahwa mereka adalah kumpulan negara-negara dengan budaya khas, dan berbeda ketimbang negara di Eropa Barat lainnya. Setelah saya telaah kembali ternyata hal ini dikarenakan rakyat kontinen Anglo-Saxon adalah sekumpulan imigran dari Jerman Utara dan Skandinavia Selatan, itulah yang menyebabkan budaya mereka menjadi khas karena merupakan hasil perpaduan antar dua negara yang berbeda.
2. Caroline Minuscule merupakan skrip yang digunakan pada abad ke-delapan. Skrip ini kemudian berkembang menjadi bentuk standarisasi dari penulisan kaligrafi di benua Eropa.
3. Karena pada abad ke-7, dimana kala itu Anglo Saxon Futhorc masih kerap digunakan, huruf Latin mulai berkembang dan menyebar hingga ke kontinental Anglo-Saxon. Huruf Latin yang notabene lebih mudah dipahami dan lebih luas digunakan pun dengan cepat menggantikan posisi Anglo-Saxon Futhorc.
