Notes

A few years ago, I was a very negative person. I could rarely ever see the brightness or greatness in things. I would never notice the excellence, but only the wrong. I was mean to those around me, and I was never able to celebrate anything someone other than me had accomplished. Looking now, it is extremely disappointing to classify me this way, as I must say I have changed tremendously.

After being in a horrible mood for such a great period of my life, something clicked. I cannot describe what had changed to this day, but something had changed. I was enlightened. I spoke to peers at school and was able to have lengthy conversations. I laughed at a joke told by a friend for once. I was able to come home and say I enjoyed school after rarely saying I had before.

My life had changed drastically. I had some sort of revelation and noticed how supportive my family and friends had always been. I realized that everyone had wanted the best for me from the start of it all and that the world was not out to get me. I noticed that life is not one hundred percent bad and that there is good in everything.

Now, I can truly see positivity in everything. I have recognized how great everything and everybody is. I am even sometimes remarked as too positive. I found a new love for every person and can figure good qualities before bad ones, and I rarely get angry at people.

I could confidently say my life improved for the better from the day of enlightenment forward. I even now have a way to relate to people feeling down, and I have even been remarked by peers as an expert to cheering people up. I have been dubbed the most positive person in my school, and I enjoy and savor my title.
