Notes

My name is Keira Thompson. I am a freshman, I am 14 years old, and my birthday is July 29th. Me and my family are all from Arlington. I have 2 siblings. Kami, my younger sister who is 12 years old and Keston, my younger brother who is 8 years old. They both attend Beckham elementary and they act very much like me.

Although I have been enrolled in this class, I do not play very many video games. But, when I have time, I do like to play games on my phone. Because of extracurricular activities, like volleyball, when I'm not at school I don't have time to play games because I also have to study. Therefore, the games that I do play are games that can be very short or games I can pause. Because of this, I prefer puzzle games like solitaire.

As I previously stated, I like puzzle games for the most part. I had also mentioned that solitaire is one of my favorites because its quite calming. Aside from this, I like a game called Paper IO where you are trying to take up as much space on a map as possible by dragging your finger on the screen to make areas. Games like Piano Tiles and Loop are also very fun for me. Lastly, the only video game that I don't play on my phone is Destiny 2 which I play on the PS4.

When I play games, I happen to be very picky about which ones I choose. While most games I really enjoy to play, there are some games that are just not fun for me. One game I definitely did not like was a game called Stickman Hook. To me, the point of this game was dumb and I found the controls very difficult. I also was uninterested in Fornite because I am bad at it.

After searching through the internet, I found that the Xbox was originally going to be called DirectXbox. I found this quite interesting because of how well known the name Xbox is and it might not have been called that. I also learned that the creator of Mario Bros is not allowed to bike to wow because he is too important to the Nintendo Company. The most interesting fact I found was that kids who play video games are more likely to be satisfied more than those who do not. This fact is very interesting because not only are they more satisfied with their lives, but they also have less emotional issues than those who don't play video games.
