A motor unit is everything that the motor neuron stimulates and the neuron itself

Depolarization - the reversal of a negative charge
Depolarization leads to an electrical charge called Action Potential
When a muscle is at maximum tension, it is called tetanus
Muscles relax when the calcium supply has been cut off, and troponin binds back to the tropomyosin
Slow twitch muscles contract slowly while Fast twitch contracts quickly (Type I and Type II); these have been divided into subgroups as well
