Stitches
I was in second grade. It all started off as a normal Saturday. I was going to my friend Ryan's house for a over night hangout (a.k.a sleepover). When I got there it started out as so much fun. We played a few games in which one of them was find the object. In this game someone has to hide an object in one part of the house, yard, etc. then the others have to try and find it. As I was looking in Ryan's room I found that her younger sister, kade (the person who hid the object) was staring at her bed. When I looked at her bed I saw a small object poking out from under her blanket I automatically went to get it. I stuck my hand under the blanket without looking at it. When I felt the object I jerked my hand back to get it out. I felt a sharp pain so my reflexes made me move my hand and jerk again. It turns out my friend had a metal board under her covers. When I had jerked the first time I got my first cut, then when I moved my hand I scraped another side of it and got another cut. When I saw the cuts my immediate reaction was to scream. As soon as I screamed my friend Ryan entered the room. I pointed at my hand which made her scream too ( I did not cry at all though through the entire process). My friend Ryan and I rushed downstairs to go and tell her father. Her father called my dad and the neighbor (she was a nurse so she found a was to temporarily stop the bleeding). Later on about 15 minutes later my dad got there and took me to the hospital. I saw the doctor around 3am. First thing they did was give me a shot to numb my arm. The shot really hurt so I screamed. They put on the stitches and I was all good. I couldn't write for a few weeks and Ryan and I aren't friends anymore.
