dirk and dave seeing them and just starstruck and sneak off to watch them perform finding out they perform on the streets

yes!! dirk just /casually/ drops a bag on gold for them


John and Jake see it after the crowd leaves and they just stare at each other in shock.
"we could buy a chicken....and eat it." John smiles.


dave and dirk getting an a lecture about leaving without telling anyone and without an aid. they leave to go to thwir rooms and just like, "were gojng back tomorrow, right?" "of course."


John notices the two cloaks appearing again and keeps his eyes on him knowing a festival coming up and he sneaks up during the street performance and gets close to Dirk and smiles

He sees its Dirk and just panics thinking their in trouble again


dirk tries to avoid him bc he doesnt want cause a scene but jumps at the chance to reassure John that they wereny in trouble


John seeing hes fine and just giving a silent and warm smile before pretending he didnt see who he was


dirk smiles back and just swoons ever so slightly at the smile


But also when they finally speak,
Maybe dave stumbles into their dressing tent and they just cover up and then Dave apologizes over and over and over and John just laughs.


awkward royals are the best
just like, trying to be the Cool Emotionless Princes and theyre over here tripping over their feet trying to get closer to John and Jake


Jake and John finally full on teasing and messing with them during performance at the festival and they put a sash around their necks and smirk


!!! maybe they do a late show, its getting dark and not many people are out one of of them dl the sash thing to Dave or Dirk and without thinking which ever strider is, kisses them



using the sash to hide the kiss and they go back to performing again. Omg John would though
John kisses Dirk and Dave just gets puffy and jealous


Jake notices and kisses Dave's cheek real quick before anyone could see


Dave just touches his cheek and looks at Jake


jake winks at him before going back to performing


omg to add a layer of angsty maybe they get arrested and tried for witchcraft and John gets convicted


!!! maybe when theyre arrested, dave and dirk are there in strret clothes so theyre not recognized, and they get thrown into jail as well until people realize whoe they are. but bc theyre in jail, dirk cant stop it, so when theyre released, he storms the trail to save john


John already in burning clothes and being tied up all his jewelry about to be melted and John having told Dirk the meaning off all the pieces he wears


once they save john, dirk removes his cloak and wraps it around him, holding john close to his chest while going off one the ones who had arrested john and jake


yesssss Jake quickly grabbing whats left of Johns things and its just his earring and his fathers necklace


dirk trying to remake the items that he lost!! with his metalwork and a collect of jewels that derrick has, which is actually a collection that Calvin gave Derrick with things he found on his travels


Calvin was looking for Jake and John for years to reclaim them for Prospit and they where taken by gypsies accidentally


WHAT IS CALVIN COMES BACK FOR A WEDDING (not sure which pair or if all) AND HE SEES JOHN AND JAKE AND IS LIKE "!!!!"


John and Jake just kind of stare at him for a long moment and Jake just '!!!!!!!!!'
"GRANDPA!"

Calvin takes them into his arms, hugging them tightly.
the striders in the other side very confused when Derrick is "!!!!!"
"THIS IS JAKE AND JOHN???!!"


John happily hugging Calvin and Calvin just laughing.
"I said they where probably still in gypsy care!"
Dirk and Dave just looking at each other then them.
Dirk,"You arent gypsies?"
"Yeah we are." John "Just...by accident i guess?"
