Two parts of this question: take out + gravity
Take out:
Make a for loop searching through every single value in the grid. When a value detects that it is not -1 or 0, it automatically puts into recursion.
In recursion:
public static void recursion (int x, int y, int color)
Base cases are:
If at edge, than return;
If not same color, return
If nothing is around and is not a clump than get out of the recursion, return -1. If every thing in for returns -1 than return final grid.
Recursing:
Make itself -1. If around has same color recurses back to that same thing. recursion(coordinates). Doesn't need to return any counts so just take make clumps -1. Make source -1 before recursing or else it is an infinite loop.
return. No need to return at recursing part because it will end when edge or not equal anyways.
Gravity:
In for loop, push everything into stack/queue (depending on order). Only push if -1. Reinstantiate array and pop everything back in
