This chapel was about Vine Leadership and knowing yourself and who you are in Christ Jesus, and the speaker preaching this message is Pastor Chris Moore. The reason why I chose this chapel is because its one of the chapels I missed and also I like his teachings and his messages. The emotions I got from this chapel is kind of sad and happy, the reason I felt kind of sad is because of what he was going through in his life and his family, he said in the fifth grade his family had built a church called Promise Christian Church and he was a pastor's kid, he said a lot of good came with it but also a lot of difficulties came with it also. He also said him and his family went through a lot of stuff, they had the church for nine years and the devil attacked his family hard at that time. At the very beginning of the church Pastor Chris Moore's sister burned her leg cooking top ramen and the hot water spilled on her sweats and she got a 3rd degree burn from it. He also said that there were people with them but decided not to be apart of it, they were living with a family at the time but they had to move and live with another family, they lost the church and family members but they stayed faithful through it all while the devil was trying to do what he can to destroy him and his family and what they were trying to build. The reason why I felt happy is because through it all they maintained there faith and didn't let the devil get to them. This was a learning experience because it taught me to always trust God in everything I do and know that I'm his child and he will make sure whatever it is that I already have it and whatever road blocks com my way I know he has my back with whatever situation it is, I also learned that being a Christian and Gods children we are going to go through test in our daily lives and we have to be mentally prepared to deal with when the time comes. God wants to see that we are going to be souled out for him in our daily lives through our daily lives and our test.
