Day 1.
Riga: It’s a beautiful capital, there are many things to do such as go visit Vecrīga, the historical center of Riga, Vecrīga is famous for its old churches and cathedrals.
Day 2.
Riga Motor Museum: Riga Motor Museum is the biggest antique vehicle museum in the Baltic countries. and one type of food that I’d like to recommend is Pīrāgi, these crescent-shaped pastries are filled with onion and chopped bacon, Normally eaten as a snack
Day 3.
Līvu akvaparks in Jurmala, with dozen of water elides, the whole family can have fun, it’s also the biggest water park in the Baltics. Something you can eat is smoked fish. Think pollock, salmon, cod, and trout cured to perfection for a positively mouth-watering taste.
Day 4.
Daugavpils: It is a delightfully charming, spacious, green city. Mark Rothko Art Centre is a multi-functional institution of culture, arts and education, located inside of the fortress' Arsenal building in Daugavpils.
Day 5.
Old Sigulda Castle: Originally built eight centuries ago, the Castle of Livonian Order in Sigulda reopened it's walls to visitors in 2012 and now encourages everyone to step back in time and enjoy the surroundings that bore witness to many historical events. Castle of Livonian Order in Sigulda offers explicit and historically active journey. Something you could try out is Kurzemes Strogonovs, a delicious dish with all of its amazing combinations of other fondos.
Climate
Latvia has nice weather in the summer and it gets pretty cold in the winter. Latvia experiences reasonably mild winters, beginning in January and ending in March.
Average temperatures range from 10°C to 15°C in winter, and sometimes getting as cold as -6.6°C to -2.8°C.
When it’s summer you have to wear pants/leggings and normally 2 shirts.
When it’s winter you wear warm pants, various shirts, winter coat, hat and gloves and snow boots
Geography of the country
Latvia is generally a very flat country of low-lying plains, largely covered by forest. There are some low hils in the west and far southeast.
A few high hills are found to the east of Riga, with the highest point being the Gaizinkalns at 311.6 m (1,022 ft).
Small lakes and swamps dot the countryside. Important rivers include the Daugava, Gauja, Lielupe, Venta and Salaca.
Laws for tourists
Don’t become involved with drugs.
Drinking alcohol in public is prohibited and may lead to detention and a financial penalty.
For identification purposes, you should carry a photocopy of your passport at all times.
There are on the spot fines for those found travelling on public transport without a ticket or with a ticket which has not been validated.

Borscht
Borscht is a sour soup, and it includes beetroots as one of the main ingredients, which gives the dish its distinctive red color.
Kvass
Kvass is a beverage commonly made from rye bread. The colour of the bread used contributes to the colour of the resulting drinks.
