"Please don't leave me" I say standing in the driveway of my life long bestfriend, Luke Hemmings.
"I'm sorry but I have to" he replies putting his last suitcase in his mothers car.
"I'm going to miss you so much." I quietly say and wrap my arms around him
"I'll miss you too. You wanna go to the airport with us?" He asks as he wraps his arms around my waist
I nod my head and pull away from him getting into the backseat of his moms car. Him and his mom get in after me and we drive off.
As soon as we got to the airport I jumped out of the car and hugged Luke tightly.
"I will come back, Abby." He whispers in my ear
"Promise?" I whisper back
"Promise" he pulls away from the hug and walks into the airport.
I follow him as he get his ticket.
"Do you really have to go?" I ask in a sad voice
"Yes. I'm sorry" Luke replies getting ready to board his plane.
I give him one last hug before he finally walks onto the plane. I start to cry as they close the plane doors.
His mom wraps his arm around me and says "He'll come back. He never breaks his promises."
