DRUGS:
Prophet Muhammad said, "Every intoxicant is Khamr and all Khamr is Haram", Khamr means alcohol- an example used as it is a drug. Haram means forbidden or proscribed by islamic law.

The people of islam aren't allowed any drugs that aren't prescribed medically by a doctor. Muslims consider drugs that aren't prescribed by a doctor are the work of Satan and are designed to lead people away from God. Muslims think that non-prescribed drugs can enable people to escape there real lives, which isn't serving there god Allah.

CHARGING INTEREST ON MONEY THAT IS LENT:
"If the debtor is in a difficulty, grant him time till it is easy for him to repay. But if ye remit it by way of charity, that is best for you if ye only knew". Surah 2:280
This a quote telling us that when you lend money to someone even if they are in a bad situation, you should give them time to pay it back but if you've done it for charity its saying that its the best thing to do even if you don't know it.

There are Muslim banks with special facilities so that Muslims are able to borrow money without the bank making interest on it.
If the money has come from gambling or a lottery many muslims will not take the money to build a building or a mosque.Muslims in the United Kingdom take an active part in raising money for their mosque where it is distributed to the poor; many will send money to Muslim communities abroad.

RELIGIOUS SCHOOLS (MADRASAHS):
The Arabic word "madrasah" translates to mean school. In the Islamic religion, madrasahs are important centers for learning not only about Islam, but about secular subjects as well. The history of madrasahs is extensive, and madrasahs are utilized as centers of learning throughout the world.
