Notes

Midtown High was having a field trip on a boat to go watch whales.... There weren't any whales so far, and they'd been out there for three hours. Oh yeah, and they were lost. "I bet you that we all die on this boat" said Ned.
"Well I hope not, that would suck." responded Peter. He could hear a faint beautiful voice that sounded like it was coming from the water. He nudged his friend. "Hey, Ned. Did you hear that?"
"Hear what?"
"There was a voice."
"Oh my god you're going insane"
"What, no! I know I heard something I'm positive."
Just then the boat shook, and stopped.
"What was that!?" The front of the boat started to lean down, causing some people to fall over.
"Everybody, stay calm. The boat is sinking due to hitting a mini iceberg. It's not that sturdy of a boat. There are rafts and stuff in your seats." calmly said the (QUITE aged) captain. Everybody started to panic, trying to get off the boat as fast as possible. Peter was about to get off the boat when Flash pushed him.
"GET OUT OF THE WAY, PENIS PARKER" He yelled. Peter fell off the boat, somehow with hardly anyone noticing. He started to sink to the bottom of the ocean, and the ship with him. This was an awful Friday.


Ariel swam through the ocean. "Flounder come on!" she yelled out behind her.
"I'm *pant* trying *pant* my best *pant* to keep up with you!" he swam behind her. Ariel gasped.
"Flounder look!" she pointed at a large sunken boat. "A shipwreck! I'm sure there's great stuff there!" she started swimming towards it.
"Ariel, it looks kind of dangerous..." "Oh you guppy! There's nothing to be afraid of-" she screamed.
"ARIEL! WHAT HAPPENED!"
"Flounder, look! It's a... Thingy!" she picked up a metal utensil, slightly rusted. It looked like her fathers trident, but with four prongs instead of the three. "Do you think Scuttle will know what it is?"
"I don't know... This place is kind of scary..."
"I'm sure it's just" all of a sudden a shark busted through the rotting wood of the ship. "SWIM!" she yelled. She and Flounder swam as fast as they could and dove behind a large rock. "Do you think it's gone?" he asked.
Ariel looked behind the rock. She saw the shark, but it swam the other direction, the way it came. "That was a close one!" "Now come on! We have to find Scuttle!"

The two swam until they reached a rock above the surface. Scuttle was humming a little song. "Scuttle!" Ariel shouted.
"WHA! Oh! It's just you Ariel!" he gasped. "You really got me there!" Ariel giggled and pulled the strange metal object out of her bag.
"Do you know what this is?" she asked hopefully, and handing it to him.
"Oh! I know exactly what this is. This beautiful thingamajig is called a dinglehopper!" He proudly stated
"What is it used for?" She wondered out loud.
"You see, the humans love this thing. You use it to groom your hair! You see, you get some of it on the dingle hopper, then you twist it like so, give it a little yank and voila! You got fabulous hair!" he demonstrated making his feathers poofed.
Ariel took it from him and tried it. She smiled when it worked. "Thanks, Scuttle!" she waved goodbye to him.


Ariel and Flounder went back into the ocean. In the distance, Ariel noticed a body. It hit the water and started to sink. She gasped. "Flounder! A human! Oh, no, we have to save him!" she started swimming as fast as possible, determined to save him.
"Ariel, wait!" Flounder chased after her. Ariel finally reached the human, and tried to get him to shore as fast as she possible could. She set him on the sand.
"Oh what do I do...." Ariel looked up and saw her favorite seagull. "Scuttle! Help!"
"Ariel? What is she doing on the shore?" he said to himself, flying down to help her out with whatever she needed.
"Scuttle! Thank goodness you're here! This human was drowning so I tried to rescue him. Is he going to be ok?"
Scuttle looked down at him. "Hmm... Let me see." he waddled over to his foot and held it up to his ear. There was a second of delay. He gasped.
"Was I too late?" Ariel said worried.
"I'm sorry... There's no heartbeat." he said sadly. There was a moment of silence.
"Wait, look! He's breathing!" the human started to breath. "He looks so... Beautiful"

(he started to wake up a little bit. Ariel smiled seeing he was ok)

Where would we walk? Where would we run?
If we could stay all day in the sun?

END SONG

Before he fully snapped back to consciousness, she smiled but then leaped back into the water. She was happy he was ok, and but now wished even more to go to the human world and to walk on land. But she knew she couldnt.


As she swam in the water next to her best friend, she noticed something was off. Then it hit her. "Oh no, Flounder! The concert was today!"
