The innate magic of the world infuses everything, depending on its intricacy, appearance and materials. The more complex and/or beautiful/interesting something is, the more powerful and effective it is. Because of this, dragons can fly and breath fire (normally, something that size would collapse on itself due to the square-cube law). Because of this effect, equipment is designed to be as ridiculously deadly as possible, due to all the ideas that would never work in the real world functioning here. Additionally, many women have taken to wearing extremely sexualized clothIng/armor to distract their enemies. There are three major types of loot/treasure you can get off of defeated enemies/monsters. Physical loot, which is stuff like money or scales. Muninn, which are fragments of memory from the creature, which enhance your skills and knowledge. Thuginn, which is the power of the creature, which you can focus to strengthen your body, enhance your equipment, or Trade (easiest way is through sex) with merchants in exchange for various things. There are five major types of magic. The innate magic of the world, which is almost impossible to control, dark magic, which is destruction/death, light magic, which is creation/life, elemental magic, which allows manipulation of matter/energy/forces, and psychic magic, which affects the mind (illusions, precognition). Magic is easy to learn, but difficult to get powerful in. Magic cannot create energy loops, the more complex the spell the longer it takes to cast and the more fragile the effect is, endless effects require endless powering.
