It does something to you and makes you want to give a blessing, a benidiction on the world it makes you want to improve and perfect the beloved bcs the beloved is an image of that what is perfect, that is worth aspiring to. it justifies our suffering, it makes us feel the misery, incoherence the nonsense in life somehow makes sense. and by improving and perfecting the beloved and doing what we can to make them more divine and god like we gratify us much more and at the same time improve your ownself and make ourselve more lovable. there is a fine reciprocity of identity creation on socratic notion of love
