•Clumped distribution: Individuals form clusters in their habitat. Few or no individuals are found between the clusters. Clumped distribution is common in social organisms and when resources are few and unevenly distributed in a region.
•Random distribution: Individuals are dispersed randomly in a region. They’re capable of living anywhere in the habitat. Random distribution is found among many solitary species, such as bears and leopards.
