1.freedom is the ability to do what you want, while equality restricts freedom by making everyone follow the same rules
2.because without equality the american dream is not available to all that seek it
3.the american dream at its roots is the dream that anything is possible and without equality not everyone can achieve these dreams
4.separate but equal is the idea that while everyone isn't the same and we may not fit together we may all be equal
