ACT 1 SCENE 1
This act takes place in Kipper Middle School. SAM is in detention. JAMIE is supervising the classroom.
SAM : I hate this class!
[SAM is flustered]
JAMIE : This isn’t a class, it’s detention Einstein. [She says sarcastically]
SAM : Remind me again why you’re the detention monitor.
JAMIE : Ms. Kay wanted me to fill in for her while she steps out. Also it will look great on my community service fold-
[SAM rudely interrupts]
SAM : I don’t care! [shouts SAM]
JAMIE : Whatever, it’s time for you to leave now anyway, Tempersen. [SAM rolls her eyes and gestures for Sam to exit the class.]
SAM : The names Sam, Sam Tempsen!
SCENE 2
SAM is in the hallway on his way out the building. When suddenly he hears a familiar voice.
ANGLE : Hey Sam! What’s up?
