The Toombes Family was a regular, good ol, american family. Barbecue dad, sweet mom, mischevious little boy, and typical teenage girl. And who can forget their little dog, Sparky? The Toombes didnt expect what came to them that Halloween, but now it lives in their basement. Huh. Weird.

Dad- Dave Toombes
Mom- Helen Toombes
Daughter- Amy Toombes
Son- Fletcher Toombes
Dog- Sparky Toombes
Skeleton- Bernard Bones

Wait, Skeleton? Not every family has a skeleton, but the Toombes do. How did they meet him? Lets find out:




Amy and Fletcher had gone out trick or treating, so Dave and Helen were passing out candy to kids. There was the regular ring on their doorbell. Mrs. Toombes opened the door expecting to see a Trick or Treater, but it was a skeleton. "Uh..." was all she could say. "Hello, miss, Im Bernard Bones, soldier of the Skeleton War. Your daughter Amy saw an ad that said "Click Here to host a Skeleton Soldier in your home" you see, the skeleton war is over and not many of us have tombs to go home to. But hey, youre the Toombes! Nice to meet you." he gave his hand to shake. She just stood in the door way shocked.


"Hey mom we're home!" chimed Fletcher as he walked in the door, but then he just stood there frozen. "What?" Bernard was sitting on the cocuh with a bowl of Froot Loops watching cartoons. Beside him were Dave and Helen. Amy looked excited. "OH MY GOSH! The skeleton actually came!" Bernard got up and walked towards the kids. "So you must be Amy! Thank you so much for inviting me to live with you guys. Im Bernard Bones." he shook Amy's hand. "Im Fletcher!" Fletcher had on a skeleton costume. "Wowza, what a great costume! You look just like a Skeleton!" "Thanks, Mr. Bones!" "Bernard, lets get you to bed. Do Skeletons sleep?" "Well of course! Where's your caskets?" "Oh, we dont have caskets. But we do have two old couches in the basement. We could do something with those..."

So they went to the basement and moved the couches together forming a casket shape. Mrs. Toombes broke the legs off an old table to put over the couches, like a casket. Bernard set up with everything he had brought, like his hat, his trumpet.... Thats pretty much all he owns. He went to bed with a halloween blanket draped over him, a happy skeleton with a new family. THE END.
