Answer:

It is certainly true that everyone aims to enjoy their life and to feel fulfilled. Although generations of scientists have been struggling to find the universal recipe for happiness, many people still argue that it is too intangible to be defined. This essay will discuss the components of this feeling and the possible ways to achieve it.

Undoubtedly, it is extremely hard to define what happiness is; it differs from joy, fulfillment and pleasure. While some people believe that a person can feel happy only if he or she is in love, others think that success and welfare are the most important factors. Actually, a number of scientific research projects have demonstrated that this feeling is not connected with career prospects, romantic relationships, or the attitude towards family.

In spite of these considerations, there are several elements which can contribute to the achievement of happiness. First and foremost, this is usually impossible for people who are not aware of their areas of interest. From my experience, one can feel blessed when he clearly knows what he wants and follows the defined path. Also, the support and encouragement of friends and family are extremely important. However, I am convinced that one cannot be happy with others if he is not happy on his own.

In conclusion, the nature of happiness is a complex topic. Although many adults struggle to increase their upward mobility or to find a soul mate, they often find themselves feeling disappointed in life. Most probably, the best way to become happy is to stop fighting for it so desperately.
