THE ROCK CYCLE
Igenous rock: made from magma that was hardened to form an outercrust. maga is hot liquiad
MAGMA: is the earth's surface that was firsted formed
SEDIMENTS: is the process where the ignoeues rock is broken into peices cause by weathering , that then are deposited into forces of erosion. the layers are deposited horizontally
SEDIMENTARY ROCK: when overtime the layers get compacted and cemented tepogerter. inside can contain fossiled items , and fossil fuels such as natural oil, gas, and coal
METAMORPHIC ROCK: that is under extreme pressure- makes up most of the earth;'s cuust
if the heat is strong enoight, it can go back to molten form, melting the rock
tghe process repoeates itslef starting with igneous rock again.
