Journal 24

Since there are 4 weeks left until end of the quarter. The next 4 weeks of school I plan to just do everything as I normally do but just try to stall my chemistry grade so that it doesn’t go to an F. I have to hold it up to a D or a C at least so it’s a passing grade. Although I would love to have an A or a B, I don’t like that class to study or focus too much of my time on it although I have too, because it will make my parent’s happy. Next semester I suppose I will have way better grades due to having experience this semester with how everything in the class works & goes.

Journal 25

I can relate this song to Holden’s darkness because in the story Holden is going through some tough times and it says “Feeling my way through darkness” in the first line followed by I can’t tell where the journey will end but I know where to start. This relates to Holden because he was in a tough time and doesn’t know how his journey will end. It also stated All this time I was finding myself and now he is trying to find out who he his as a person.

Journal 26

Bad things do happen in life and you can either react to it in a negative way or a positive. What I think of it as is do everything I can to change it and everything else that is not in my power or control to fix then I just leave it and know that I did my part. Like I figured out I lost my debit card today. I did everything I could to fix it which was lock the card so nobody else could use it. Then I just left it until I find it or just order a new one. That may seem like a small problem but believe it or not once I found out I didn’t have my card I reacted in a different way. I was worried and just looking around everywhere for it. Just gotta calm down..

Journal 27

In the next few chapter I think when holden goes to new york he will find a place to stay. I feel like something will happen where he will run into some issues. I feel like since he is on his own he will overcome the issues and find new friends that he can relate to. I think that he will finally get over everything and it will eventually fix and everything will be in his favor.
