Notes

I visited the 9/11 Memorial last July and ever since, I've viewed 9/11 and the events that took place much differently. I want to write a novel on the events, but not for the sake of writing, rather for the sake of sharing it as something to the future generation to bring more awareness of what actually happened, because most of the teens and children my age that were born afterwards 2001 (such as myself) don't realize the severity of what happened and though I was never personally hurt by 9/11 or knew anyone hurt, it still affects how I view things today. This book would be about following the main character (yet to be named) in the days leading up to the events of 9/11 and the flight she has booked. The flight just happens to be United Airlines Flight 175. I want to continue with this idea, and if I come to the conclusion with other people that it would be okay to write this book, I would consider reaching out to eyewitness accounts and victims of the day to have it be accurate as I would never ever want to write a book about something that would be disrespectful and ignorant to those hurt. I will not write this idea if it's offensive or in any way disrespectful. Thank you so much!
