Sebastian had always questioned whether working for Jim was a logical decision. It'd been the most intense and abusive relationship he'd ever been privy to, and Jim the most violent man he's ever encountered. Yet, he'd remained unfailingly loyal until it was too late. Jim'd killed himself as a part some sick last grande gesture in his stupid game with Holmes. Frankly, what ticked Sebastian off the most was not receiving any heads up prior. It's left all Sebastian confused, and constantly running left him no time to mourn Jim.

Now, three years late though, he's settled into a new emptiness. He'd evaded the agents looking for him, lived off his savings in a small house he'd purchased near Brighton Beach. There was no way he could return to the military, and though he'd try tried to recapture the thrill of his previous life as a hitman for hire, it gave him no pleasure. And so Sebastian found himself spending more and more time at local pubs, getting in the occasional row. Tonight, though, he just sat at the bar, emptying one glass after another.
