the little mermaid-->after being saved by a mermaid, eric makes a deal with a witch named vanessa to become a merman. he has only a few days to get her to recognize him before he turns back and becomes vanessa's forever. after he and ariel fall in love, vanessa tricks ariel and forces eric to fail his end of the bargain. he is almost taken, but triton interrupts them and saves eric. eric and ariel kill ursula and triton turns eric back into a merman.

tangled--> rapunzel is born with powers and locked in a tower. as her eighteenth birthday approaches, she decides to escape her tower for the weekend to go see the floating lanterns. along the way, she runs into a man named flynn rider who recently stole the lost princess's crown. they make a deal: rapunzel will give the crown back if flynn agrees to guide her to the lanterns. along the way, they gain a horse and fall in love. mother gothel sets her sights on eugene and teams up with the stabbington brothers. in the boat, rapunzel sees gothel on the shore and goes to her. the brothers convince eugene that rapunzel left him and that they forgive him for running off. he reluctantly goes with them, while gothel takes rapunzel home. once there, punzel realizes that she's the lost princess and gothel reveals that the brothers will be turning eugene in to be hanged. she escapes and goes to the jail with the help of the snuggly duckling crew. gothel shows up and rapunzel is stabbed, and gothel gives eugene a choice: sing the song and let rapunzel heal herself, or escape and let her die. rapunzel uses her last bit of strength to cut her hair. gothel dies, rapunzel dies, but eugene sings the song and rapunzels tears heal her. they then go and meet the king and queen. (she also proposes for like three years before he says yes).

the princess and the frog--> tiana is a workaholic restaurant owner who doesn't know how to relax or have fun. after she makes a deal with the shadowman to protect her business, she accidentally gets both herself and prince naveen turned into a frog. they traverse the bayou on their way back to the city to find someone to break the curse. in the end, they turn human again. naveen gets back in his parents good books and tiana learns to take a gotdamned break every once in a while.

aladdin--> aladdin is the orphan prince of agrabah who is being married off by his eighteenth birthday. when he sneaks out of the palace to experience life outside, he gets into some trouble and is saved by a street girl named jasmine. she lives with her poor father and steals to make a living. not long after, she is arrested and aladdin is told by jafar that she was executed. meanwhile, jasmine escapes, finds the genie, and wishes to be a princess. she presents herself as princess jasmeen. aladdin is annoyed, jafar is suspicious, and jasmine is trying her hardest to woo aladdin. he starts to figure out who she is, but then they expose jafar and aladdin orders him arrested. jafar steals the lamp, banishes jasmine, tries to bone aladdin, and is eventually trapped as a genie. jasmine uses her last wish to set the genie free.

aristocats--> o'malley is the cat of a rich old lady who leaves her fortune to him. the butler tries to kill him and o'malley gets help getting home from a beautiful stray cat called duchess and her kittens. __________________________________________________________________________________________
brave--> eleanor goes to the witch and gets a cake to change her stubborn daughter. merida turns into a bear and the two of them go off to find the witch and reverse the spell (which can only be mended by eleanor mending merida's bow).

lion king--> nala is the rightful heir to the throne of pride rock (technically both she and simba are mufasa's kids, so this works out). after scar frames her for mufasa's death, nala runs away and is raised by a meerkat and a warthog. years later, she meets a fully grown (but skinny) simba, who tells her about what scar's done. nala returns and fights scar, and takes her place as queen of pride rock.

sleeping beauty--> at the prince's fifth birthday party, where he meets his future bride, he is gifted with many blessings by his fairy godmothers (beauty, song, and acurse reversal). maleficent dooms the kid to die, and one of the fairies lessens it to enchanted sleep instead. years later, aurora is out in the forest on a ride with her ladies in waiting when she comes across a boy singing with the animals. they dance, but eventualy aurora is forced to return home. her parents tell her of her arranged marriage, which she is furious about because she is in love with phillip. meanwhile, phillip returns to his castle and is tossed into an enchanted sleep. the fairies tell aurora about it and she dons pants, a sword, and a shield, and rides up to maleficent's castle to demand to see him. she kills maleficent and wakes the prince up with a kiss, and they ride home and are married the end.

lady and the tramp--> the tramp is adopted from the pound and given to Darling by Jim Dear. lady, on the other hand, is eventually thrown out by the breeder and grows up on the streets. years later, the two meet and fall in love. problems arise because even dirty as she is, lady looks like a pedigree dog, whereas the pampered tramp looks like a stray (albeit one wearing a collar). in the end, the tramp is taken in by the pound and the lady rescues him. she is then adopted by Jim Dear and Darling.

high school musical--> after a new years spent singing with a strange girl, troy bolton transfers to east high. he quickly becomes known as the basketball guy and meets the girl again, a well-established mathlete named gabriella. they quikly grow close and confide that both want to be more than what they were labelled. sharpay and ryan evans rule the drama scene at the school. sharpay has the biggest crush on gabriella and doesn't appreciate troy staking a claim. she is even more furious when the two are given the leads in her musical. the mathletes and athletes trick troy and gabriella; they show troy videos of gabriella saying that he means nothing to her and that she'l ditch the musical for the mathlete competition. in the end, they make up and do all of their activities.

bolt--> mittens is the pampered cat star of a popular tv show. she accidentally is shipped halfway across the country, where she meets up with a stray dog named bolt who she is sure is one of the villains from her tv series, which she thinks is real. they also band together with a hamster named rhino to get mittens home (and save penny from a fire). they are all three of them taken home by penny.

brother bear--> after killing the alpha of a wolf pack that killed his older brother, denahi turns into a wolf and must travel to the mountain where the lights touch the earth (on the off season for the fish, since the off season is when the caribou go there). along the way, he learns to be wise and lets go of the anger he has from sitka's death, whereas kenai hunts him down, mistaking him for the wolf that killed denahi.
