Year-round schools V.S. four day school weeks
Year-round schools are essential for students to learn more quickly and effectively. Students forget what they learned during the long summer breaks the other schools have. On the other hand, year-round schools have short but constant breaks to make sure that students do not forget what they learned before when they come to school after the break.

Most schools give students a long summer break after a lengthy school year. But the vacations are often awfully long, and students tend to forget things on breaks because they do not revue what they learned in school. When students forget, the teachers have to waste time reviewing what the students learned last year. A recent study shows that students forget an average knowledge of a month’s worth of teaching over the summer. Students forgetting stuff over the summer are not a problem for year-round schools. They give short but constant breaks and encourage students to go over what they learned in school on vacation.

Students have delicate young minds. They need time to cool down. Schools which have a long summer vacation after a whole semester is probably too much for students. Year-round schools give students constant breaks, which helps their minds cool down. The non-year-round schools build up stress in their pupils’ minds and decrease their brains’ processing power. Students lose interest in what they are learning and have a difficult time focusing. This might lead to a lack of knowledge. Giving students constant breaks are essential. It can change their lives.

Year-round schools are best for students. They help them remember things easily and learn with more focus. They are the best education students can ever have. So, why don’t you consider sending your child to a year-round school?
