lets keep introductions for the end and start with my observations, so , I was travelling in OLA one day and saw a breach in the driver app .

Rest Assured , the breach is not from the security point of view , its rather functional , so it will be more easy to explain and to understand it.

so, the trick is , Lets assume the driver has multiple share bookings over the same destination , he accepts one of the bookings and for the other ,he enters the OTP , sees the bill amount and cancels the ride instead of starting it and tells the passenger that , there is some ongoing technical issue , so the ride is cancelled , you can book another ride or you can pay me in cash and I will drop you .

Now , driver gets full amount from Ola let's say x Rs./KM and also receives the "BLACK" cash of same amount from other passenger and OLA looses commission

Let's say you have 45000+ taxis in India(I don't know the exact figure, pardon me for that) , and 1% of drivers are exploiting this thing for earning(unethically) on an average of 500 Rs. per day.

You are loosing whooping 450*500= 225000 Rs. per day of revenue and if you earn 20 % commission out of it , it's costing you 45000 Rs per day.

I am not asking you to believe my words , Just put on some tracking , on the driver cancelled trips on the page when we sees the bill but cancels the ride instead of accepting it and probably , you will save something to offer better services to the people.
