Notes

I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I jumped out of bed and turned my alarm off. I washed up and reached for my iPad. Scrolling through my social media, I came across an animal rescue video. Watching the weak animals getting rescued brought me to tears as I started to recall a similar experience not too long ago. The incident changed my life and taught me to be a better pet owner.

It was a bright and sunny morning. White, fluffy clouds drifted across the sky. I decided to walk my fluffy and playful dog in the park to indulge the fresh air. We started off with an activity of fetch. Instead of bringing the ball back to me, my dog started barking loudly to catch my attention. I walked over and heard pitiful meowing from the top of the tree. Watching the kitten hanging onto the edge of the thin branch, I started to panic. I broke out in cold sweat figuring out on ways to rescue the cat before it was too late.

After what felt like eternity, I finally came up with the idea of rescuing the kitten by climbing up the tree. Although I was taught that it was dangerous for me to climb on a tree, I put the safety of the kitten before my own. Fortunately, the tree was short enough for me to climb without risking my life. I reached for the kitten and placed it securely in the pockets of my jeans. As the sky darkens, I left the kitten in the park alone with a heavy heart and decided to walk back home. The meowing of the kitten stopped me in my tracks. Seeing as the kitten is still in the state of fear,I brought it back home.

After hours of persuading, my parents finally allowed me to foster the kitten.
