This happened to me when I was about 9 or 10. Quick explanation so you understand and get a picture of what happened. I have a very big yard on the left side of my house. There is another yard that the city owns next to my yard. (I live in a small town not that this is excruciatingly relevant) It is separated by a row of trees my dad planted. I also have a somewhat big backyard. Next to the area of property the city owns there is building. Basically like a gigantic shed. It has a green and tan fence connected to it with a bunch of cars inside that are old or broken and unusable. At the time I think it was just an empt building tha served no purpose except for the cars stored begin the fence. It is now the new police station in town. Anyways, one day when my grandparents came over my grandma was cutting my hair. I was seated on a stool right next to the sliding glass padio door.
