Tanwin, sukun, dan tasydid
- Tanwin (التنوين) adalah tanda baca/harakat pada tulisan Arab untuk menyatakan bahwa huruf pada akhir kata tersebut diucapkan layaknya bertemu dengan huruf nun mati.
• Tanwin fathah.
Tanda baca tanwin fathah sering disebut baris dua di atas. Artinya letas barisnya dua di atas huruf hijaiyyah.
Misalnya ketika tanda baca tanwin fathah di letakkan di atas huruf “alif” maka dibaca an
ketika tanda baca tanwin fathah diletakkan di atas huruf “ba” maka dibaca ban.
• Tanwin kasrah.
Tanda baca tanwin kasrah sering disebut baris dua di bawah. Artinya letas barisnya di bawah huruf hijaiyyah.
Misalnya ketika tanda baca tanwin kasrah di letakkan di bawah huruf “alif” maka dibaca in,
ketika tanda baca tanwin kasrah diletakkan di bawah huruf “ba” maka dibaca bin.
• Tanwin dhammah.
Tanda baca tanwin dhammah sering disebut baris dua di depan. Artinya letas barisnya di depan huruf hijaiyyah.
Misalnya ketika tanda baca tanwin dhammah di letakkan di depan huruf “alif” maka dibaca un
ketika tanda baca tanwin dhammah diletakkan di depan huruf “ba” maka dibaca bun.
- Tanda baca sukun.
Tanda baca sukun sering disebut baris mati. Letak barisnya di atas huruf hijaiyyah.
Tanda baca ini hanya dapat dibaca apabila didahului huruf berbaris fathah atau kasrah dan dhammah.
Misalnya ketika huruf “Mim” berbaris dhammah dan huruf “Sin” berbaris sukun maka dibaca Mus.
Ketika huruf “Alif” berbaris Fathah dan huruf “Lam” berbaris sukun maka dibaca al.
- Tasydid.
Tanda baca tasydid sering disebut baris syaddu. Letak barisnya di atas huruf hijaiyyah, tanda baca ini gunanya menggandakan bacaan.
Misalnya ketika huruf “Ta” berbaris Fathah dan huruf “Ba” berbaris tasydid fathah maka dibaca TABBA
Ketika huruf “Ĥa” berbaris Fathah dan huruf “Ya” berbaris tasydid fathah maka dibaca ĤAYYA.
