Troubleshooting For Flipkart App
Hi,

We understand your concern that your're facing issue while purchasing products on Flipkart and are sorry for the trouble you have to go through.
Here are some troubleshooting steps that may fix your issue.
1. Restart the device
Restarting your device gives it a fresh start and is sometimes all you need to fix your issue.
If the issue still persist, follow the below steps.
2. Check for System Update (OTA)
- Check if the device has an OTA update available.
- Open your device's main Settings menu.
- Select About or System updates (depending on your device, this may be different)
- If an update is available, follow the on-screen instructions to install it on your device.
If the issue still persist, follow the below steps.
3. Update the App
App updates can provide enhancements and security improvements that may fix the issue.
- Open App draw
- Open Play Store
- In the Search box, look for Flipkart and open it.
- If available, tap Update.
Now check if the issue is resolved
If the issue still persist, follow the below steps.
4. Reboot to safe mode
Rebooting in Safe mode will only load the Android system apps and help us understand if the issue is with any third-party app.
- Press and hold the power button.
- Tap and Hold Power Off option.
- In the pop-up window tap OK to reboot into Safe Mode.
- Once rebooted, the home screen should have a safe mode icon.
- Now, open ONLY Flipkart app and check if it works in Safe Mode.
Note: To return back to normal mode, just reboot the device.
If the issue still persist, follow the below steps.
5. Perform a Factory Reset
Perform these steps before doing factory reset.
- If required, backup data it may cause data loss.
- Make sure the battery is sufficiently charged.
- If applicable, remove the SD Card from the device to prevent accidental formatting while resetting.
Steps for factory reset:
- Pull down the notification menu.
- Open Settings
- Scroll down and choose Backup & reset.
- Tap Factory data reset.
- Do NOT check Erase stored content. Tap Reset Phone.
- If prompted, input the Security pattern lock, Pin or Password.
- Tap Reset Now.
- Setup the device.
After setup, download the Flipkart App.
