FAQ – “Jio Instant 2200 Cash Back Offer”

What is the “Jio Instant 2200 Cashback Offer”?

“Jio Instant 2200 Cashback Offer” entitles a cashback of Rs.2200 to all Jio customers (existing and new) who will activate 4G devices as listed below on the Jio network for the first time by performing a recharge of Rs.198/Rs.299 Jio prepaid plan on or before 31st July, 2018. After 1st successful recharge of Rs.198/299 on an eligible device, 44 vouchers of Rs.50 each will be credited in MyJio app which can be redeemed, one at a time per recharge, against subsequent recharges of Jio plan of Rs.198/299, via MyJio App only.List of Eligible Devices provided in Annexure 1.

2. Till when is this offer valid?

The offer is valid for all eligible devices, activated on the Jio network for the first time, on or after 31st July, 2018. The first recharge of Rs. 198/299 Jio Prepaid Plan should be done on or before 31st July, 2018 by the Eligible Subscriber to avail the offer.

3. How and when will I get the cashback under the “Jio Cashback Offer”?

You will receive 44 vouchers of Rs.50 each in your MyJio app by performing a successful Jio recharge of Rs. 198/299, on the eligible device, on or before 31st July, 2018.

4. How can I redeem the cashback vouchers under the “Jio Cashback Offer”?

The 44 cashback vouchers of Rs. 50 each, that are received in your Myjio App, by performing a successful Jio recharge of Rs. 198/299, on the eligible device, can be redeemed, one at a time, against subsequent Jio recharges of Rs.198/299, via MyJio app only. The cashback vouchers, if unused, will expire by 31st May, 2022

5. Can the cashback voucher, under this offer be transferred to any other Jio number?

No, the cashback vouchers are non-transferable.

6. Will this offer be available, if I purchase a 4G device from ecommerce sites?

Yes, “Jio Instant 2200 Cashback Offer” is available for all eligible devices, purchased from stores as well as ecommerce sites in India, during the offer period.

7. Where can I get a new Jio SIM to avail the “Jio Instant 2200 Cashback Offer”?

You can visit your nearest Jio Store, Reliance Digital or Jio retailer to get a new Jio SIM. To locate your nearest Jio Store, click https://www.jio.com/Jio/portal/storeLocator

8. Is the “Jio Instant 2200 Cashback Offer” applicable to existing Jio subscribers as well?

Yes, the offer is applicable for both existing as well as new Jio subscribers.

9. Can I avail any other offer along with the “Jio Instant 2200 Cashback Offer”?

No, two or more offers cannot be clubbed together and customers who have previously availed cashback offers provided by RJIO for the Eligible Device shall not be eligible to avail this new offer.

10. How will I get to know if the cashback voucher, under the “Jio Instant 2200 Cashback Offer”, has been credited to my account? And where can I view the voucher?

You will be notified through appropriate channel when the cashback vouchers have been credited to your account. You can view the cashback vouchers under the “My Vouchers” section in MyJio app.

11. What is validity of cashback voucher?

The Cashback vouchers are valid till 31st May, 2022.

12. Is the “Jio Instant 2200 Cashback Offer” applicable on all the variants of 4G devices?

No, it is applicable only on the Indian variants of eligible devices.


Terms and Conditions – “Jio Instant 2200 Cash Back Offer”

Preliminary

1. This promotional offer from RJIO (defined below) is being run on www.flipkart.com, Flipkart mobile app and Flipkart mobile site (collectively “Platform”), which Platform is owned and operated by Flipkart Internet Private Limited (“Flipkart”, “We” or “Our”).
2. By participating in this Offer (defined below), the user (“You” or “Your” or “Eligible Subscriber”) agrees to be bound by:
a. These terms and conditions;
b. The Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and other relevant documentation including any modifications, alterations or updates thereof, that are published on the Platform; and
c. All applicable terms and conditions of RJIO.


Definitions

1. “Cashback” shall mean Rs 2200/-, which shall be credited in the form of 44 cashback vouchers of Rs 50/- each in the MyJio App of the Eligible Subscriber upon performing Recharge on the Eligible Device.
2. “Eligible Device” shall mean the 4G devices,Mentioned in the annexure 1 , activated for the first time on the RJIO network, by an Eligible Subscriber, on or after 31st Jluy, 2018 by performing Recharge, on or before 31st July, 2018. The offer is applicable only on the Indian version of the Eligible Device.
3. “Eligible Subscriber” shall mean a person who (i) has purchased the Eligible Device; and (ii) is an active subscriber of the RJIO services; and (iii) is enrolled to the “Jio Prime” membership plan.
4. “MSISDN” means mobile station international subscriber directory number and for the purposes of this Offer, shall mean the mobile number assigned to the Eligible Subscriber for availing RJIO services.
5. “Entitlement Period” shall mean the period between 17th July, 2018 and 30th May, 2022.
6. “Offer” shall mean the Cashback offer made available by RRL.
7. The Offer is applicable for prepaid customers of RJIO only.
8. “Offer Benefits” shall mean the benefits accruing to the Eligible Subscriber under the Offer as shown herein-below.
9. “Recharge” shall mean a recharge performed of Rs.198/- or Rs.299/- prepaid plan offered by RJIO.
10. “RJIO” shall mean Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited.
11. “RRL” shall mean Reliance Retail Limited.
12. “T&C” shall mean the applicable terms and conditions of the Offer.
13. The Offer and the benefits hereunder shall be made available by RRL to an Eligible Subscriber.


Benefits of the Offer (“Offer Benefits”)

An Eligible Subscriber, who, during the subsistence of the Offer, performs Recharge on or before 31st July, 2018 shall be entitled to 44 vouchers of Rs.50/- each which shall be made available by RRL on the MyJio application of the Eligible Subscriber on the Eligible Device.
Cashback received by the Eligible Subscriber shall be redeemed in the following manner:
Each voucher of Rs. 50/- provided under the Cashback, can be redeemed by the Eligible Subscriber upon a Recharge in MyJio App only (“Eligible Recharge”);
Only one Cashback voucher of Rs.50/- can be redeemed per Eligible Recharge.
A maximum of 44 Cashback vouchers of Rs. 50/- each, can be so redeemed by the Eligible Subscriber on or before 31st May, 2022. For avoidance of doubt, all unredeemed Cashback vouchers shall expire on 31st May, 2022.

Terms and Conditions of the Offer (“T&C”)

1. The Offer shall be open to all Eligible Subscribers on and from 31st July, 2018.
2. These T&C shall be read concomitantly with the terms and conditions of the Jio Prime membership plan and the CAF.
3. Two or more offers cannot be clubbed together. This Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other alternative offer or promotion of a similar nature.
4. Customers who have previously availed cashback offers provided by RJIO for the Eligible Device shall not be eligible to avail this new offer
5. RRL/RJIO recognizes that the choice to be contacted for promotional messages and alerts is that of the Eligible Subscriber. RJIO intends to keep the Eligible Subscriber informed on matters relating to the Offer and any upcoming offers from RJIO for the benefit of the Eligible Subscriber. Accordingly, by availing the Offer, the Eligible Subscriber hereby consents to be contacted by RJIO and such consent shall remain unaffected by the Eligible Subscriber’s registration in the National Do Not Call (“NDNC”) registry under the relevant category stipulated therefor.
6. RRL reserves the right to cancel/withdraw this Offer at any time, without any prior intimation to the Eligible Subscriber. However, the benefits accrued to the Eligible Subscriber on or prior to the cancellation/withdrawal of this Offer, shall not undergo any change.
7. RRL may, at its discretion, modify any of the terms and/or conditions and/or any aspect of the Offer, without any prior intimation to the Eligible Subscriber. However, the modifications so carried out will be posted on www.jio.com
8.If any term/ condition under the T&C of the Offer is found to be invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, such term/ condition shall be severed from the other terms and conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining terms and conditions of the Offer.
9. Any claims, issues, damages or losses with respect to the Eligible Device shall be the sole responsibility and liability of the manufacturer of the Eligible Device and Flipkart and RRL (including its affiliates, group companies or parent company) hereby disclaims, any and all claims, losses and liabilities, whether or not arising out of, or in connection therewith and/ or this Offer and the terms and conditions governing the Offer. This disclaimer shall apply to the fullest extent permitted by law and shall survive cancellation/termination/determination of this Offer.
10. Flipkart shall not be responsible for non-fulfillment of the Offer or for any other liability arising due to availing this Offer and any claim or dispute in relation to the same must be directed towards RRL.
11. The Offer shall be subject to force majeure events and on occurrence of such an event the Offer may be withdrawn at the discretion of Flipkart and RRL.
12.In no event shall RRL or Flipkart or its directors, officers, employees, agents or other representatives be responsible or liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or any other damages of any kind, arising out of or related to the Offer.
14. The Offer Benefits are non-transferable.
15. The Offer can be availed only once per MSISDN & IMEI.
16. This Offer is subject to guidelines/directions issued by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Department of Telecommunications (DOT) or any other statutory authority from time to time.
17. Eligible Subscriber hereby authorizes RRL/RJIO to collect his/her personal information including name, address and mobile number and share with its partners so as to enable the Eligible Subscriber to avail the Offer. The Eligible Subscriber’s personal information will be stored and processed in accordance with RJIO Privacy Policy and RRL Privacy Policy which is available at www.jio.com.
18. The Eligible Subscriber hereby agrees to indemnify and keep RRL and/ or Flipkart harmless against all damages, liabilities, costs, expenses, claims, suits and proceedings (including reasonable attorney’s fee) that may be suffered by RRL and/or Flipkart as a consequence of (i) violation of terms of this T&C by the Eligible Subscriber; (ii) violation of applicable laws; (iii) any action or inaction resulting in willful misconduct or negligence, on the Eligible Subscriber’s part.
