I agree with this view. Both parents are either enforcing too much or giving too much freedom.
Minah is too strict. In the poem, Minah enforces her authority over Din, asking Din to 'listen to' her, and says that 'I am the Mother, you are the Son, you must respect your parent. Don't try to tell me I'm wrong.', then Din complains that Minah is 'keep on bugging' him. This shows that Minah's parenting style is too demanding, requesting Din to always listen to her, resulting in Din's dislike. Hence, Minah's parenting stylr is too harsh thus creates a sense of hatred against Minah.
