Um, hi. I'm Dakota Giovinazzo and I'm 15 and I've been wanting to do this for a while and I'm really sorry if this blows up your phone or if this doesn't make very much sense because I'm not really good at writing, but you've really helped me so much. Your positive advice and your guy's lyrics have seriously made me such a better person. When I first was introduced to you/you guys I was in a horrible place. I was suicidal, I self-harmed, I was negative about everything. I had depression because when I was seven my step-father at the time started to rape me and my sister, and he did it several times over the next three years, up to until I was ten when my mom to me to a family therapist thing, I still don't even know why, and I told her. And that night he got arrested at his work. I mean, not only did I have deal with all this, I lost the only person I really saw as my father figure. And that was probably one of the hardest things since my actual father doesn't care about me or my sisters at all. And then like a year or two after that, my sister got raped again and I just remember think that she has to go through all of that again, and after that everything got even worse. And in 6th and 7th grade I got bullied really, really bad because I weighed over 200 pounds and they said some horrible things, I don't even like thinking about it. And in seventh grade, my oldest sister went to jail for assistance with murder. She got sentenced 25 years and its been hard, but I'm adjusting. And things had been getting better but the January of this year there was a fire and it killed five people. One of them was both of my sisters best friend, pretty much brother, and I wasn't as close to him but he was pretty much apart of the family. He was always there. And at his funeral these disrespectful little fucking douche bags (excuse my language) fought. But besides that, honestly this year I've been getting so much better. I'm happy, I haven't been this happy in, ever honestly. I'm positive and I honestly just love life and can see its beauty now. Besides how my mom acts, I mean she tries to put me down a lot and sometimes she gets physical but she's still my mom, and my family still fights so god damn much, but really besides that I'm happy. I have great friends and I'm making great memories and everything. And your advice and the music you guys makes, I seriously couldn't of done it with out you guys. You're seriously my inspiration. I'm sorry this was so long and I wish I could of told you this in person but I don't think I'll ever get the chance and so I guess this is gonna have to do. I'm sorry if this blew up your phone, I didn't mean to. You guys really just mean so much to me, I can't even express how much. You guys have made my life so much better.
