1. Lima elemen dalam wushu:
Air: kehidupan dan kelembutan (ingat sifat air yang lebut dan mengikuti wadah)
Kayu: tulang dan otot sebagai energi dalam kehidupan bila terbakar api menjadi tenaga.
Api: kekuatan dan ketangkasan
Bumi: pertahanan dan tempat bagi elemen-elemen lain untuk berkembang
Logam: senjata. Kombinasi dari berbagai unsur berfungsi untuk menguasai penggunaan berbagai senjata.
2. Setelah menonton kejuaraan Asian Games sore ini, Lily kecil merasa sangat antusias dan begitu terpana dengan gerakan-gerakan para atlit yang luwes dan terlihat luar biasa indah tersebut. Sepanjang hari, gadis berusia 8 tahun itu terus merengek pada bundanya untuk didaftarkan ke kelas Wushu yang kebetulan baru buka di kompleks apartemennya. Karena lelah dengan rengekan Lily, bunda setuju dan mendaftarkan putri kecilnya itu ke Lau's Wushu Center. 2 hari kemudian, dengan bangga Lily masuk ke ruang latihan penuh cermin itu dengan balutan celana Training dan kaus putih. Ia menempati baris terdepan dan mengikuti tiap gerakan dengan semangat. Foto ini diambil Bunda sebagai kenan-kenangan kelas wushu pertama Lily.
