We understand your concern about the Flipkart Plus Coins.
We are sorry for the trouble you had to go through.
We would like to let you know that Flipkart Plus is a new customer benefits program that offers customers numerous benefits like free and faster shipping for select products at serviceable pin codes, early access to sales, priority customer support, access to rewards from Partners etc.
-In the initial stage, a limited set of customers will be part of this program who are selected based on their transaction history with Flipkart.
-These customers will receive 50 Flipkart Plus coins on the day of launch and they can choose to be part of this program by clicking on 'Join Now' button on the 'Flipkart Plus Zone' accessed via 'My Accounts' or Flipkart Logo on the Home page (once it's activated the Plus coin count will be reset to 0).
-'Join Now' button will be enabled only if the customers have a minimum of 50 Plus coins (Refer supporting docs for website and SA screenshots).
Plus Coins Granted via Purchase:
-The remaining set of customers can start purchasing products on Flipkart and earn 1 Plus coin for every Rs. 250 transaction (Maximum 10 Plus coins can be earned per order; Plus coins can be earned at an Order Level and not on Item level).
-Once they have 50 coins in their account, 'Join Now' button will be enabled and can activate the Flipkart Plus Program (unless they activate it, customers cannot be part of this program).
-Members of this program are tagged as 'Flipkart Plus'/ 'Plus' in their Flipkart account (refer screenshots in supporting doc).
