School year starts the beginning of May and ends on the last week of February)
There's school 6 days a week, but some go to school all 7 days
School is from 7:30 am till 5:30pm, but most of the high school students go to private classes therefore usually comes home after 10pm
Primary and middle school wear casual clothes, but high school students have to wear uniforms
Not allowed to dye hair (except for dark brown), not allowed to wear tons of makeup, no dangling jewelry, and no hats.
Canada has a bigger variety of extracurricular clubs, where in Korea everything is more academic based

They do not have janitors, so students take turns to clean the classroom and the washrooms.
Teachers have a close relationship with his/her students. They still play the role of a teacher to the students outside of school, and they text/call each others' personal phone if they need advice or help as they do not have guidance counsellors
