Firstly homes in the winter are heated by coal which pumps tons of carbon into the atmosphere that cause global warming.
Solar and wind power is a environment friendly solution, however a few countries can't afford it.
Another aspect of technology is its intentional misuse during war.
Especially the invention of nuclear technology has caused a lot of damage, whereas nuclear waste and it's handling is a huge problem.
Another side-effect is discarded plastics, oil spills, smog and many others.
Sea animals suffer from pollution and waste in the Oceans.
Important to mention is the advance of technology in the agriculture sector. Here huge machines are employed in huge areas which were forests or jungle. The result is that this area has turned into a desert in a couple of years.
Electronic gadgets will soon be a waste and will end up in the land fill in tons and poison our environment.
As much as technology helps us we all ways have to focus to think about not destroying nature. So far not much has been done to stop the catastrophe and harm we have done to nature.
Technology can be useful and helpful, but the misuse of it has resulted in grave harm.
The nuclear age started in Japan at Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
